Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and Animal Assisted Activity (AAA) at UofL Health - Frazier Rehab Institute is designed to promote physical movement, emotional well-being, cognitive functioning/awareness and social improvement for individuals with disabilities.
With the use of a service dog and specially-trained professional, AAT focuses on meeting specified goals and objectives for each individual and is provided in a variety of settings, both as a group session or individually.
