Innovations Inpatient Programs

Based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, the Innovations Program provides inpatient treatment to children and adolescents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) that are experiencing acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms.  Inpatient treatment includes psychiatric care, individual/group and family therapy, expressive therapy, educational services and 24-hour nursing care.

To meet the unique needs of children and adolescents diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability, the Innovations Program provides specialized treatment services that include Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy.

Using an evidence-based approach to care, treatment is aimed at decreasing the occurrence of challenging behaviors through environmental modifications and teaching functional replacement behaviors.  Throughout the admission, our multidisciplinary team of professionals work collaboratively with families and caregivers to provide training, support and case management to aid in a successful transition back into the home and school environment.
