Nurse Practitioner Megan Reynolds Joins UofL Health Urgent Care in London
London, Ky. (February 22, 2017) – Megan Reynolds, APRN, has joined UofL Health Urgent Care, located at 148 London Mountain View Drive, Suite 4, in London.
Reynolds received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ball State University in 2011, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2016.
Reynolds brings to UofL Health 14 years of nursing experience. Most recently, she worked at Saint Joseph London for eight years. During this time, Reynolds spent two years in the emergency department. She was also a charge nurse in the observation unit, providing direct patient care.
Reynolds also previously served as the Director of Medical Services at Wernle Children’s Home in Indiana, where she supervised and oversaw all medical and psychiatric care of children and adolescents, provided first aid/CPR instruction, and served as chair of the Health and Safety Committee.
Reynolds is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and basic life support (BLS) training. She has received certifications from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Emergency Nurses Association.
UofL Health Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m, Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 606.864.0103.
