Join us for FREE smoking cessation classes beginning Monday, January 15, 2018. Held at UofL Health - Jewish Hospital Shelbyville (727 Hospital Drive, Shelbyville), the classes are held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. weekly (generally 8-12 weeks), and are designed to help you quit smoking. An introductory session will be held on Monday, January 8 at 5:30 p.m. to provide an overview of the program.

The classes utilize the Cooper/Clayton Method which is a comprehensive behavioral smoking cessation program developed over 25 years ago by Thomas Cooper, D.D.S., a former heavy smoker and Richard Clayton, PhD., an expert on drug addiction.
This very successful program is based on science and utilizes proven methods of smoking prevention including education, skills training and social support.
Adina Nethery, RT, a Cooper-Clayton method trained instructor, will lead the classes.
