Our interdisciplinary team of experts specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and/or diseases affecting the brain, spinal cord and nervous system, including:

Both certified as Primary Stroke Centers by The Joint Commission, UofL Health - Jewish Hospital and Mary & Elizabeth Hospital have also been nationally recognized by the American Stroke Association, receiving their Get With The Guidelines – Stroke (GWTG-Stroke) Gold Performance Achievement Award. 

In addition to excellence in stroke care, UofL Health - Jewish Hospital provides acute inpatient and outpatient rehab services through UofL Health - Frazier Rehab Institute, including “day one” evaluation and rehab to begin the recovery process. As the lead center in the nation for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation NeuroRecovery Network, Frazier offers spinal cord patients access to leading-edge therapies, including Locomotor Training. Frazier’s Movement Disorders Program, in conjunction with the University of Louisville, has been recognized as a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, providing world-class research, therapeutic care and education.
