Sleep Care

More than 70 million Americans experience fatigue, irritability, depression, inability to concentrate, memory problems, loss of productivity and auto or workplace accidents, primarily due to sleep disorders. These symptoms affect many aspects of your life and if left untreated, some sleep disorders may increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack or stroke.

The physicians at UofL Health Sleep Care have developed a unique program that allows for the comfortable and efficient treatment of sleep disorders.

UofL Health Sleep Care provides night sleep studies for diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, sleep deprivation, periodic limb movement disorder, nocturnal behaviors (sleep walking, talking and eating in sleep, acting out dreams) disorders and narcolepsy. Patients may also be directed to have a Home Sleep Test in their own home. Home Sleep testing is determined by the physician assessment and insurance requirement.
