About the Weight Loss Balloon

ORBERA is a two-part, 12-month program designed to provide effective, motivating results you can see.

Part 1

It starts with a soft balloon that is temporarily placed in your stomach for six months without surgery or any incisions. The balloon takes up space in your stomach to help you to eat smaller meals while reinforcing proper portion control. At the same time, you’ll receive coaching and a personalized plan from our dedicated weight loss team, which may include a registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and behavioral psychologist.

Part 2

After six months, the balloon is a removed through a quick, nonsurgical procedure. Your team will continue to provide dietary, exercise and lifestyle counseling for another six months. When the yearlong program is over, you will have adopted healthier habits to help continue your weight loss success.
